California State Employees Charitable Campaign Kick-Off Event

West Steps, State Capitol

Event Description: More than 400 guests from the public and nonprofit sectors will come together on the west steps of the State Capitol in hopes that valuable information, success stories and other beneficial ideas are shared as we prepare for the upcoming giving campaign. At the event, guests will be treated to an agency fair with more than 100 local nonprofit organizations ready, willing and able to talk about their goals as well as any volunteer opportunities they may have for CSECC donors. A delicious lunch will be available for purchase.

3rd Annual California State Library Giving Fair

The California State Library is ramping up for the 2010 California State Employees Charitable Campaign. To give employees an opportunity to meet directly with representatives from 501C(3) charitable organizations we are hosting the 3rd Annual CSL Giving Fair on the sidewalk surrounding the State Library and Courts II (LCII) building. Display tables may be set up outdoors at the main entrance of LCII and in the adjacent Fragrance Garden.

Department: Department of Health Care Services Event: DHCS’ 1st Annual Golf Tournament (Open to public) Date: October 20, 2010 Time: 7:30am – registration; 8:30am – shotgun begins Location: Mather Golf Course, 4103 Eagles Nest Road, Mather, CA 95655 Cost: $80 per person – includes green fee, cart, lunch with a drink and $7 merchandise credit Brief description of event: DHCS is hosting their first annual golf tournament to help raise money for the California State Employees Charitable Campaign.
