CSECC Thank You Event Honors Outstanding Campaign Success!

     State departments, employee coordinators and volunteers were recently honoured at the California State Employees Charitable Campaign (CSECC) Thank You event on Tuesday, April 14 at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento Hotel.

     Secretary of Service and Volunteering Karen Baker announced to the crowd that their efforts resulted in nearly $9 million in pledges made by more than 50,000 state employees. The financial gifts benefit nonprofits throughout the state. “This was a tough year to raise funds,” Baker said. “But as always, the California state employees rose to the challenge.”
