Dear Fellow State Employees,

Baker

I am heartened and amazed by what I’ve seen the first few weeks of our annual California State Employees Charitable Campaign.

Despite these challenging economic times, State employees have remained extraordinarily generous.  At a time when most people would expect you to be stepping back a bit from community support, literally thousands of you are stepping up and doing even more.

I don’t need to tell you how much the nonprofit community needs your support in these difficult times. Your continued generosity is sincerely needed and greatly appreciated.

I also want express my gratitude to the hundreds of volunteers working on this year’s CSECC campaign: You’ve been tremendous. Your hard work is really making a difference in the lives of hundreds of thousands of Californians. Thanks and keep up the great work!

Karen Baker
